Resolved Question: What are the statutes of limitation on a speeding ticket in NJ?

I got a speeding ticket in sept. 07. My orginal court date was set for Dec. 07. I had to reschedule and went through the process of excusing myself from the original date. Paterson never sent me a notice of rescheduling until the other day. It is scheduled for the same day I got the ticket in sept. 07. I was just curious if there is any way I can get out of the points. I don't want my insurance to go up. Ok... I can't get it reduced at this point... The only thing they will do is offer me this one time out (I forget what they call the violation). But once you use it you can't a second time. I have applied it once already. I have been told that if I can discount the radar evidence that the judge will throw the case out. This usually happens due to improper or missing radar documentation. In other words, an unprepared patrolman. At this point what do you think my odds are of that happening...? Jersey is rather harsh at times... I have dealt with municipalities in other states and they are very reasonable... However, in my home state of Jersey they eat their young... Anything goes...
